Dhana Kumari Sunar

Dhana Kumari Sunar– Dhana has Master’s in Sociology and Anthropology from Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu. She is former Commissioner of Nepal Women’s Commission. She has worked with International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (International IDEA), Kathmandu, Danish Institute for Parties and Democracy (DIPD), Kathmandu, since 2012 to till date.

In the last fifteen years, he has also provided evaluation consultancy services to local and international organisations on issues surrounding human rights, peace, conflict, nonviolence, child rights, youth, social protection, governance, local planning, gender, and safe migration. Ms Dhana has worked with several international organisations i.e. UNICEF, ICTJ and OHCHR. She is a member of advisory committee of SAMATA Foundation since 2013.
