Dr. Lok Rajan Bhatt Dr. Lok Ranjan Bhatt is a senior Botanist with more than 20 years of experience in the areas of non timber forest products including wild edible fruits. He has a PhD in Natural Product Development from Department of Herbal Resources, Wonkwang University, Korea. His professional career has been a mixture of jobs in interdisciplinary areas. Dr. Bhatt currently serves as Senior Scientific Officer at Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST), Khumaltar, Lalitpur. He was postdoctoral researcher at Vestibulocochlear Research Center, School of Medicine and Department of Bio-nano Chemistry, Wonkwang University, Korea. He taught Botany (biodiversity conservation and plant ecology) at Patan Multiple Campus and Siddhanath Science Campus of Tribhuvan University. Dr. Bhatt taught natural product chemistry at Department of Bionanochemistry, Wonkwang University, Korea. He has published more than 30 scientific papers in various national and international journals. He has participated and presented scientific papers in more than three dozen national and international conferences. His current interest is in food and nutritional security and has been working on documentation and nutritional analysis of wild edible fruits of Nepal.
